Came to Phitsanulok for the Loykratung festival and stayed at the Holatel. Great location, very comfortable bed & fluffy pillows. Breakfast is a mix of Thai & European. The swimming pool & pool bar is at the sister hotel just down the road. Hotel minibus will provide transfer & back

Very old and dirty. Owner seems not to care about trash in the rooms or in the hallways. Breakfast is simple and perhaps not clean.

Great value. Ordered spinach and cheese for dinner with soup, very good. Fridge had two waters and pop, some bananas also provided. Staff are accommodating and kind. Breakfast is worth it, if you like fresh food. Towels are clean of course..

It's a lovely boutique hotel at a great price. The check-in was effortless, and the staff were accommodating. The rooms are big and modern, the bathroom is big and has a great shower. Breakfast was pretty standard, with plastic sausage and eggs. Traditional Thai breakfast as well. I would stay here again, no problem at all

If you are looking for a basic, no frills hotel in Phitsanulok, the Holatel is one option. The room I had was small but clean. This was the case for the bedding, furniture and bathroom. The room had the basic fittings you would expect, such as a small TV, desk, bedside tables etc. The TV offered mainly Thai language channels (which is perfectly normal!) so don't expect international news or movie channels. Staff were friendly and professional, although depending on the time of day English speaking staff may be in short supply. Breakfast was served from 6 in the main lobby area and is a basic selection - no "egg station" is available, and most of what is on offer is Thai food, rather than the more international selection you might find in other hotels (to be expected!). With Phitsanulok airport being so close to the city, you are only a 15 minute drive away (if no traffic). The hotel had arranged airport pickup, and this was on time. Although I couldn't see a convenience store close by, the hotel is only 10 minutes away from Phitsanulok Central Plaza Mall, which has restaurants, shops and a movie theater.

Good location that you can walk to visit 3 major temples of Phisanulok within 300m. Rooms are newly decorated but disappoint on cleanliness. Too many dust and dirty carpet outside the rooms.

A simple city hotel with parking. Good location not far from the Nan River, some restaurants and parks are within walking distance. Unfortunately the hotel has been renovated cheaply and is a blender. Some things in the rooms don't work at all, but the highlight is the shower, the drain is wrongly laid out and the tiles are too high, the water runs to the wrong side and floods the entire toilet. It is incomprehensible that this problem was not solved immediately, it has been criticized by many guests for months. Otherwise the rooms would be well furnished, modern and with good beds. Unfortunately, the touchscreen system for lighting control does not work properly either. There is simple breakfast in the lobby, it is not special and not worth mentioning.
